Hollywood U2 Wows at Everybody's Hometown Festival

Hollywood U2 comes to Prescott to help celebrate Everybody’s Hometown Festival

Awarded  the 2016 Hollywood FAME Award Producers Choice, “Outstanding U2 Tribute” band, and “Best Tribute Band” at LA Music Awards, Hollywood U2 came to Prescott and wowed the city.

Unlike many tribute band performers, in 2015 Hollywood U2 lead singer Joe Hier was able to sing a duet, “The Sweetest Thing," with the real Bono and U2 in Los Angeles. Later Bono spoke about the duet, speaking of Hier, “He was the split of me and he sang beautifully.”

With an endorsement like that, it’s not surprising that Hollywood U2 was received enthusiastically in downtown Prescott on Saturday night, at the Inaugural Everybody’s Hometown Festival.

Ron Williams, (who sent in these photos,) noted that everyone had a really good time and said, "One of the best tribute bands I have ever seen. Played many U2 hits from the 80's and 90's, and their set ran for nearly two hours. The crowd fed off the energy of the band.”
