Head down to Rosa’s Pizzeria on a Friday or Saturday night and you will probably find yourself having to wait a bit before being seated. As one of the more popular restaurants in Prescott, business is brisk. So, when patrons learned that Rosa’s was under new ownership, the big question was what would change?
Spoiler alert, Skyler Reeves, the new owner, wants people to know that he doesn’t plan to change anything.
Reeves knows what it takes to build and sustain a successful restaurant. He opened The Barley Hound in 2015, and it didn’t take long to become a local favorite. When the opportunity to add Rosa’s Pizzaria to his portfolio came along, Reeves jumped at it.
Domenick and Rosa Anzelmo opened Rosa’s about seven years ago, bringing family recipes from Sicily to Prescott. So, when they decided it was time to sell, they weren’t interested in selling to just anyone - they wanted someone who would continue the tradition they had worked so hard to build. Enter Reeves.
Listen to Reeves and Rosa Anzelmo as they discuss the new ownership and the future of Rosa’s.
