Pros Take to the Trails
Featured

29 April 2018

Today’s the day! Pro cyclists saddle up for the Whiskey Off-Road 48 mile race.

The Pro roster includes 92 men and 40 ladies from all over the world this year, the largest ever. Yesterday, the top amateur finisher broke the record by about 3 minutes - maybe there will be a new record set today by the Pros! In 2012, on the same trail, Geoff Kabush took 1st place with a time of 02:54:59:10 - can that be beat today? We’ll see. The men's race starts at 8:30 AM, the ladies follow at 8:40.

At 9 AM, look for the most adorable young bike riders ever in the Yavapai Regional Medical Center Kids Fun Ride.

The stage was set Friday night at the Pro Fat Tire Criterium, which determined who is at the front of the starting line.

Women's Pro Crit

In the Women's Pro Fat Tire Crit event, local cyclist Chloe Woodruff from Prescott came in first, followed by Erin Huck and Kate Courtney.

Men's Pro Crit

In the Men’s Pro Fat Tire Crit, Howard Grotts came in first, with Keegan Swenson and Geoff Kabush in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
