WaterSmart: Drop by Drop Series – Learn about Prescott’s Urban Water Cycle on Wednesday, February 21 at the Prescott Public Library

PRESCOTT, AZ (Feb 2, 2018) – The City of Prescott Water Resource Management presents the second installment of WaterSmart: Drop by Drop, an interactive education initiative addressing water supply and water conservation.  The program is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21 at 12 Noon in the Founders Suite at the Prescott Public Library, 215 E. Goodwin St.  This month’s presentation is about “Prescott’s Urban Water Cycle”, explaining where the City’s water comes from and exploring the process of how it is delivered to our homes for everyday use.

On the third Wednesday of each month, the City will host a presentation and factsheet highlighting a different topic. Citizens who cannot make it to the library can also see the City’s website, www.prescottwater.com.  Newspaper, radio and social media will support the monthly topics as well.

The City encourages everyone to do their part and be WaterSmart! The program offers the community water education in order to help citizens protect our water resources now, and for generations to come.
