The talented ensemble of professional performers returns to spread its family-friendly holiday cheer for a second season in downtown Prescott starting Friday, December 13th in a series of all-new shows. This year’s run will offer up a sweeping variety of musical styles - from bluegrass to jazz, classical to country, rock ‘n roll and more - for a fresh take on Christmas designed to enchant audiences of all ages. Both youngsters and the young-at-heart will be delighted to know that Score has even finagled a commitment from Santa and Mrs. Claus to appear at each show. “Ol’ Saint Nick told me the commutes a bit of a bear,” reports Score, “but he said that since it’s Prescott, they’ll be here.”

In addition to Score and Ruffner, the Christmas 2008 show cast includes vocalist and trumpet master Steve Anniabale; vocalist and dancer Janna Bradshaw; vocalist/guitarist Larry Healy, vocalist and guitar; guitarist Seth Gibson; April Manchester vocalist; keyboardist and bassist Larry Lee; A.J. Siniaho, who plays both brass instruments and keyboards; and dancer Courtney Wagner.

The Arizona Revue is widely known for a rollicking good time throughout its summer runs, and this year’s series of Christmas music, comedy and fun promises to deliver “a sleigh full” of holiday magic and merriment. “We’ve got so many great tunes in our stockings,” says Score. “And this whole crew that I work with is so talented, inventive and enthusiastic that they really do make Christmastime in Prescott the most wonderful time of the year.” Audiences won’t want to miss this special event in the historical Elks Theater. Classic favorites, combined with a few surprises, guarantee to bring back memories and create new ones.
