Myriads of dogs swarmed the Courthouse Square on Sunday to celebrate Prescott’s First Annual Dogtoberfest. Locals and out-of-towners paraded their four-legged friends while they socialized, played, and learned about specialized services local businesses had to offer.

The Courthouse Square in Prescott was the site of the Arizona Street Rod Association's annual "High Country Rod Run" Saturday.  Antique cars from the "early days" to 1959 were parked 3 deep along Montezuma and Goodwin Streets.

This daring production of Othello updates Shakespeare's classic tragedy by moving the action to contemporary Iraq. The plot is further enhanced by adding a controversial twist, appropriate in this era of the "don't ask don't tell" military.
We had a blast! We got there about 9:30 pm, just in time for the wand contest. An amazing wand that looked to have an occotillo cactus handle with a fantastic wire wrap won that one.
