Young Frankenstein Review by David Molnar
Thank you, Prescott. I am truly honored -- and humbled -- to be your next mayor.
110 flights of stairs. That’s what people walked at Prescott Valley Event Center in order to remember the 343 firefighters from the New York Fire Department who died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Each person wore one or several name Badges to honor the heroes specifically. For those that were unable to do the stair climb, a 1.9 mile walk of honor was set up around the arena. They also wore badges with names of the fallen.
Of course, the honor of fallen firefighters is something that is felt deeply and personally in the quad-city areas after 2013, when 19 of the Granite Mountain Hotshots passed away in Yarnell. Many of the walkers and stair climbers wore badges in their honor, too.
The morning started off with the blessing of the Healing Field at the Prescott Valley Civic center, where 3000 flags are set up for the victims of 9/11. After that, many walked in procession to the Prescott Valley Event Center, where the Stair Climb/Walk was held.
Before the stair climb/walk began, the Color Guard posted the colors as a moment of silence was observed. When each person was finished, they announced the name on the badgets they wore and rang the Fireman’s Bell.

If you've walked the west side of the courthouse plaza in downtown Prescott, you have most likely seen the Veterans Memorial statue and plaque. What you may not have noticed is that it needs to be updated as the last few years of war have unfortunately taken the lives of at least six Yavapai County residents.
They handle their straight razors like John Hancock himself wielded his pen while leveraging technology to enhance customer service.
